Par for the course is 36. From the back tees, the course plays to 3,109 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2,607 yards and plays to a par-37 for ladies. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 558 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 2, a par-3 that plays to 140 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 1, a 401-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at La Purisima Golf Course is # 4, a 270 yard par-3.

Although #1 is the #1 handicap hole, it is just a straight ahead tree-lined fairway to a large green devoid of bunkers or water hazards.
